MV MIA was built in Brisbane QLD by Keith Kuskopf in 1965 and originally named Golden Gull. She was surveyed to carry 84 passengers on the Brisbane River for the Golden Mile Ferry service.
She was brought down to the Pittwater NSW in 1988 to work in the Palm Beach Ferry Service and renamed MV Mia.
She has now been renovated without compromising her original charm, and is now surveyed to carry 49 passengers in complete comfort.
With a length of 13.4m and a draft of 1.2m, MV Mia can navigate restrictive areas like Roselle Bay and Blackwattle Bay, Darling Harbour and Cockle Bay, the Lane Cove River, Middle Harbour, or upstream via the Parramatta River to The Armoury at Homebush and virtually any wharf on the harbour.
MV Mia is owned, operated and skippered by myself, Bruce Cam.
From the time you make the call to book your cruise, and throughout your time on-board, I'll be looking after your personal requirements at all times.
It's your cruise so I'll:
* Pick you up and drop you off at any wharf you like.
* Take you anywhere on the harbour you want.
* Make your time on board as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
I look forward to having you aboard!
